Information portal on breast cancer

The information portal on breast cancer www.rakpiersi.pl was launched. The technical platform for the portal was produced by JMC while the content is produced in cooperation with breast cancer experts of the Centre of Oncology - Maria Sklodowska-Curie Institute in Warsaw, Breast Cancer Clinic.
The portal objective is to educate about the disease, methods of early detection and diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation. A large number of publications on breast cancer is available as well as video footage and presentations prepared by experts. The portal forum provides support and advise for those in need.

GSM – it is so easy!

A web site to present a book GSM – it is so easy! in electronic form was published at www.gsm.com.pl. The book presents the principles of GSM communication. Many animations illustrate the technology detailes more clearly.
In the project special attention was paid to protection of the copyrights. The Java technology-based software developed and applied for publication allows for reading the book but without the possibility to save and store the text.

Information service in WAP technology for Reuters Poland

The information service in WAP technology produced for Reuters Poland provides the access, with the use of cell-phones, to selected sections of the Reuters corporate portal.
The service provides the possibility to follow news on important market events, quotations of stocks and values of indexes of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, indexes of foreign stock exchanges and currency rates. With the WAP portal one can have a remote access to important information, when the use of Reuters terminal is impossible. This option is especially useful persons who travel or for some other reasons can not access business information using computer connection.

Software solution for eFund Internet portal

A software package for the portal www.eFund.pl and content management system was produced. The portal presents a broad scope of information about investment funds in Poland, daily valuations of investmnet fund units, information about the market events, and financial statements. Among other useful features, it enables the user to compare profitability of investments in different funds in a defined period of time.
OFI, a member of Citigroup Global Transaction Services, was the owner of the portal.

Electronic management of orders for Polkomtel - Plus GSM

JMC developed and implemented an IT business solution for electronic management of orders and delivery of Simplus promotion articles. The solution is to be used by the Authorized Sales Representatives of the Plus GSM network, advertising products and services delivery companies and for Polkomtel S.A.
