„Norwegian Business Opportunities in Poland” is a multimedia presentation produced for the Commercial Section of The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Warsaw. The presentation focuses on business environment in Poland, labour conditions and legal regulations, and presents business opportunities in a new situation of Poland as an European Union member state.

Update of the multimedia presentation for The Aviation and Radio-Electronics Capital Group

A new 2004 version of the multimedia presentation of The Aviation and Radio-Electronics Capital Group was produced and duplicated on CD-ROM discs. The presentation is widely used in marketing activities of the Group in Poland and abroad.


Wella Denmark - new website on the Internet

An extended Internet service was completed for Wella Denmark. The service presents a broad selection of consumer products as well as products for professional hairdressers. Each chapter has a different stylistic appearance, which is characteristic for the given product line. The service contains many examples of hairstyles for men and women, accompanied by instructions outlining how they can be achieved using Wella products.
One of the interesting incorporated solutions is the Salon Finder, which allows the user to search the addresses of over 1000 hairdressing salons to find the one closest to their home address (e.g. within a 1km radius). This solution makes it much easier for customers to find salons using Wella products, and constitutes an important competitive advantage for the company and the hairdressing salons that cooperate with it.


Kredyt Bank annual report on CD-ROM

An electronic version of the annual report for Kredyt Bank was designed and completed. The report is published on CD-ROM and contains both Polish and English language options. All the information typically available in the paper version of the report is included, and the graphs within the report are presented in an attractive form using Flash-animations. Additionally, PDF versions of the report are attached.
This electronic version of the report replaces the traditional printed version, and the CR-ROM will be accompanied by only a short instruction leaflet in printed form.


Web site for The Aviation and Radio-Electronics Capital Group

The creation of an informational web site for the Aviation and Radio-Electronics Capital Group has been completed. The service has a stylistic appearance characteristic for the Group and presents the plants producing aviation and radio-electronics equipment, as well as the trading company PHZ Cenzin and the Agency for the Development of Industry
A wide assortment of products offered by the Group is presented, including detailed technical data and illustrations in the form of video clips. Additionally, the quality management policy of the Group is discussed and confirmed by international certificates, which guarantee the fulfilment of high expectations of the recipients of modern civil and military equipment around the world, including the members of NATO.


Internet service for the Polish Association of Clinical Oncology

The Internet service for Polish Association of Clinical Oncology (PTOK) was launched, accompanied by an application for the management of conferences and courses organised by the Association. Thanks to this solution, the whole process of the registration of participants, hotel bookings, as well as the editing and transmission of presentations and lectures for publication, is carried out on-line individually by the participants. This allows for easier sorting of the sent materials and greatly reduces the workload of the PTOK Secretariat. The time thus saved can be used by the Secretariat to concentrate on other activities and start new initiatives for the benefit of the medical community and the patients.


Dedicated e-business solution for ArtGraph

A dedicated software for e-business solution was designed and produced for ArtGraph, a printing and advertising companys. The background for the development was a consultancy project carried out by JMC in March-April 2004.


Olympic screensaver for Telekomunikacja Polska

A special Olympic screensaver was deigned and produced for Telekomunikacja Polska, a major sponsor of the Polish Olympic Team 2004. It recalls the ideals of the Olympic movement and the achievements of Polish sportsmen and –women over the history of the games. The screensaver was produced with the use of Flash and video technology. Specially produced animations of sport disciplines illustrate the real movements of players, creating impression of the beauty of the human body and its capabilities.


Web positioning project for sheraton.pl and westin.pl web sites

A consultancy project was carried out for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, the owner of Sheraton Warsaw Hotel & Towers and The Westin Warsaw to improve the rankings of the sheraton.pl and westin.pl websites. An audit was performed to see how well these sites ranked in select search engines in response to chosen keywords, followed by a redesign and repositioning of the website. Monitoring of the web sites’ position and additional actions to keep their ranking high is a continuation of the consultancy project.


Web site of Jan III Sobieski Hotel in 8 languages

A newly launched web site for Jan III Sobieski Hotel www.sobieski.com.pl was produced in 8 language versions, including Chinese and Japanese. Apart form broad information on hotel services, the web site has many Virtual Reality (VR) animations, which allow 360o view of hotel and conference rooms, restaurants and the internal garden. To keep the content up-to-date a Content Management System (CMS) was produced and delivered together with marketing personnel training.

Business portal for Arcus

A portal was created for Arcus www.arcus.com.pl, a leading distributor of office equipment and office business solutions. It aim is to keep the clients and the company’s partners with up-to-date information. In addition to company information, her market position and charity activity, the main content constitutes a broad and extensive/detailed product and service information. Animated calculator solutions help clients to choose right equipment depending on their requirements. The CMS system helps marketing personnel and brand managers to publish new content, technical information, photographs and other materials to a data base and to keep the portal up-to-date, allowing it to be to be a reliable source of information.


Wella Poland 2004 web site launched

A new, 2004 version of Wella Poland www.wella.pl web site was completed and launched. The Internet service has the full 2004 year product range with present brands visualisation. Several new sections were added to the products already on the market: Shockwaves - with products especially dedicated for youth, Safira, Magma, Head Games and Trend Vision 2004. The new service provides many proposals for hairdressing and how to create them using various Wella products.


Training multimedia CD-ROM for the Polish Union of Oncology: “First step in oncology training of family physicians”

Family physician play an important role in early diagnostics of cancerous diseases. JMC designed and produced a CD-ROM multimedia for the Polish Union of Oncology to support training of family physicians how to diagnose cancer at an early stage. The presentation contains 15 chapters and consists of more than 1000 pages of state-of-the-art knowledge on cancer and its diagnostics. The multimedia contents include texts, graphics, video, photographs and diagrams which all demonstrate the material. The acquired knowledge is tested with a Quiz. The content was prepared by the leading experts in the field of oncology in Poland.


A dedicated News Management System NewsRoom IFX2.0 for Interfax Global Services in London

A dedicated News Management System NewsRoom IFX2.0, developed by JMC, was implemented at Interfax Global Services, a member of the Russian media agency Interfax. Interfax Global Services specialises in the delivery of news services in English. The solution provides a platform for creation and editing of news, their translation and management and supports creation and delivery of electronic publications in the form of a portal and specially created weekly business services offered to business clients around the world. The application was developed with J2EE technology.

News Management System NewsRoom 2.0 for Telekomunikacja Polska

Based on a throughout analysis of the performance of the NewsRoom 1.0 news Management System, implemented at Telekomunikacja Polska in May 2003, a more advanced NewsRoom 2.0 system was introduced into operation. The new version of the system has many new options for editing and managing news. A number of new possibilities are provided for the creation of on-line and off-line electronic publications, both for internal corporate use and for external distribution. The system was developed with J2EE technology, EJB and Oracle database solutions.
