Citroën C5

Objectives

The objective of the Citroën C5 multimedia presentation was to support marketing, promotion and sales activities and the media advertising campaign in media and on billboards. The presentation should also provide car dealers with a tool to deliver to potential customers detailed information about the car presented in an attractive way, easy and intuitive to explore in most appropriate time, in comfortable atmosphere of home for private users or office for potential business clients.

An important objective of the presentation was also to create positive connotations with C5 model, a modern car for active business persons, full of/rich in equipment based on most advanced technology and solutions, with vanguard design, safe, comfortable and fun to drive.

Methods

Intro video introduces the user into the climate of highly advanced GPS navigation technology which supports driving of Citroën C5. From the very first moments this sends a signal we are dealing with a modern car nasycony in most advanced technological equipment and solutions to support driving and guarantee comfort and safety. This is the car anybody dreams of.

Technical information and data about the automobile are presented in the form of schemas, diagrams, photos and data tables, supported by detailed commentary. There is a solution provided to choose colour of the car from the available colour palette. Safety and comfort of the driver and passengers are demonstrated with animations and video clips.

Graphical user interface and accompanying music are in colours and style of digital displays and modern electronic technologies/devices to support overall atmosphere of innovation, creativity and most advanced technologies used in every part of the car.

For those who like Citroën C5 several screen savers and wallpaper options are provided on the CD-ROM to install on one's computer.

Technologies

The presentation was produced using computer graphics and animation software and Macromedia Director technology with Lingo programming. Digital video processing software was used for video conversion, processing and production of clips for full screen play. Sound Forge software was a tool for digital sound editing and processing.

Results

The result of the project is a detailed and diverse multimedia presentation of Citroën C5 - modern, technically advanced car with great design. Description of the car is provided with explanation of many technical details, data performance parameters and equipment options. Safety and comfort are analysed in details to provide sound arguments to purchase C5.

Photographs from the car design and manufacturing process personalize the car, bringing it close to the level of human relationships (between designers, creators, producers and users). An attractive digipack cover, designed in coherent style well announces the CD-ROM content and invites lovers of modern cars to exploration of the new Citroën C5.
