Sheraton Warsaw Hotel & Towers
Web positioning for increase of on-line room reservations.
Objectives
The objective of the project was to analyse current position of Sheraton Warsaw Hotel & Towers web site www.Sheraton.pl in most popular search engines in Poland and abroad. The project was carried out to improve present positioning for a selected keywords and thus contribute to the increase of on-line reservations of rooms via the Internet.
Methods
For the project purpose an analysis of latest positioning methods and search engine algorithms was performed and a selection of most appropriate approach to the task at hand was done. Redesign of the web site was also carried out, taking into account the most important parameters for high ranking the site, including tags, metatags, web site content and keywords. The results of work was evaluated and monitored on monthly basis, and status reports were written, with the emphasis of the follow-up actions to keep the web site rank high.
Result
The ranking of the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel & Towers was pushed higher as a result of the project for the selected keywords, contributing to higher on-line reservations of rooms via the Internet. The experience gathered during the project was presented in a report form, providing a guidance for better web design of new web sites of other hotels of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., the owner of the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel & Towers.
